Home Services Irrigation systems

Irrigation in Cumming & Dawsonville that protects what you planted.

Georgia summers are hot and dry, and hand-watering is easy to forget. A zoned system waters every area the right amount, first thing in the morning, without you thinking about it.

You already spent good money on your yard — the sod, the beds, the trees. An irrigation system is what protects that investment through a Georgia summer, when the heat is hard and the rain is unreliable. Hand-watering is inconsistent and easy to forget, and new sod dies fast the first time it dries out.

A proper system waters in zones, because your lawn doesn't need the same amount as your shrubs or your flower beds. It runs first thing in the morning, when less water is lost to evaporation and leaves have time to dry — which also means fewer of the fungal problems that come from watering at night.

Whether you're putting in a new system, fixing one that's acting up, or getting an existing one ready for winter, we handle it around Cumming and Dawsonville.

Zones & control

Water every zone the way it actually needs.

Grass, shrubs, and beds all drink differently, and a single sprinkler on a timer waters them all wrong. Zoned lines let each area get the right amount on the right schedule.

Smart controllers take it further — they adjust to the weather and skip a cycle when it's already raining, so you're not watering the lawn in the middle of a storm or paying for water the yard didn't need.

Repairs & seasons

Leaks, repairs, and getting through winter.

A hidden underground leak wastes water every day and can soak the ground right next to your foundation. We find it and fix it before it turns into a bigger problem.

Georgia winters get cold enough to freeze and burst uninsulated lines, so systems need a winter blow-out in the fall and a proper startup in spring. We also handle the everyday stuff — heads that won't pop up, valves that stick, and zones that quit turning on.

What's a winter blow-out?

Before the first hard freeze, we push the water out of the lines with air so nothing left inside can freeze and crack the pipes. Skipping it is how systems end up with expensive underground breaks come spring.

Questions

Irrigation, answered.

Will installing a system tear up my yard?
There's some digging to run the lines, but far less than people expect — it's trenched narrow and backfilled, and the grass recovers quickly. We plan the layout to disturb as little of the established lawn as possible.
How much will it add to my water bill?
A well-zoned system watering early in the morning is usually more efficient than hand-watering or one sprinkler running long — you water only what needs it, only when it needs it. A smart controller trims it further by skipping the days it rains.
Do you repair systems another company installed?
Yes. We work on existing systems all the time — heads, valves, controllers, and zones that quit — no matter who put it in originally. Send a photo of the controller and the trouble spot and we'll take it from there.
What is a winter blow-out, and when is it done?
It's clearing the water out of the lines with air before the first hard freeze, so nothing inside can freeze and crack the pipes. It's done in the fall, paired with a startup in spring once the freeze risk has passed.
