Tree removal and trimming in Cumming & Dawsonville.

Storm damage, dead limbs, and trees leaning over the house — brought down by an insured crew that knows how to do it without touching your roof.

Tree removal crew taking down a large tree near a home in Cumming, GA

A tree leaning toward the house or dropping dead limbs isn't a someday problem — it's a safety problem. North Georgia takes hard summer storms and the occasional ice storm, and around Cumming and Dawsonville those are the nights branches come down on roofs and power lines.

Taking out a dead or failing tree before it falls costs a fraction of repairing a roof after it does. We handle full removals, selective trimming, and storm cleanup — including the tight jobs most crews would rather skip, close to roof lines, fences, and power drops.

Everything comes down in a controlled direction, and the wood and brush leave with us the same day. No half-finished job, no pile sitting in the yard for a week.

Tree health

Pruning keeps a healthy tree healthy.

Removing dead or diseased limbs isn't only about looks. It stops rot from spreading into the trunk and takes weight off branches that could tear loose in the next storm. Done right and at the right time of year, good pruning adds years to a tree's life.

  • Dead and diseased limb removal
  • Structural thinning and shaping
  • Clearance from roofs, gutters, and lines
  • Cleaner airflow through the canopy

Safety first

This is not a weekend DIY job.

A tree doesn't always fall where you expect. Add a running chainsaw, a ladder, and a power line, and a small mistake turns into a hospital visit or a crushed roof.

An insured crew protects more than the tree — it protects your property and everyone standing near it. We read the lean, set the cut, and control the drop. And if anything goes wrong, we're the ones covered for it, not you.

Signs a tree needs attention now

A new lean, mushrooms or fungus at the base, bark peeling off in sheets, cracks in the trunk, or a canopy full of bare, brittle branches. Any of these is worth a free look before the next storm.

Questions

Tree service, answered.

How long does it take to remove a tree?
Most single-tree removals are a same-day job — a few hours depending on size, access, and what's sitting underneath it. A large hardwood tight against the house takes longer than an open-yard pine. We give you a time estimate along with the price.
Do you haul off the wood and branches?
Yes. A standard removal includes hauling the wood and brush off the same day. If you'd rather keep the logs for firewood or the chips for mulch, just say so and we'll leave them stacked for you.
Do you handle emergency storm work?
We do. After a storm we prioritize trees that are on a house, blocking a driveway, or tangled in lines. Send a photo on WhatsApp and we'll tell you how fast we can get to you.
Do I need a permit to remove a tree?
On private residential property around Forsyth and Dawson County it usually isn't required, but some HOAs and specimen-tree rules do apply. If your situation looks like one that needs checking, we'll flag it before we start — we don't guess on that.
